About
The Price of Thinking — AI, explained by economics — is a short book by Allan Pedersen. Fifteen chapters, one economic tool each, free to read here.
The book grew out of the same itch that drives the rest of my writing: the AI story is usually told as a technology story, when most of its real puzzles — the spending, the hype, the job fears, the chip wars — are economic ones. My essays and notes, shorter and looser and allowed to be wrong, live at Philosophers Mint, my personal publication. My investment and venture activities are housed at Aros Capital.
If you want to get in touch, the best way is by email. I read everything; I reply to most things, eventually.
